Grievance Redressal
Grievance Redressal Cell
The MEASI Institute of Management has developed effective mechanisms to resolve the everyday issues faced by students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders. By the AICTE Regulations, 2019 (F. No. 1-01/PGRC/AICTE/Regulation/2019 dated 19.11.2019), the institute has established a grievance redressal mechanism. This system ensures transparency and provides fair and impartial resolution of grievances for students, staff, and non-teaching personnel.
Anti-Ragging Committee
MIM strictly follows the policies of the UGC, AICTE, and the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1997, which classify ragging as a punishable offense. According to the Supreme Court of India, ragging can lead to a one-year imprisonment. To maintain a ragging-free environment, MIM raises awareness among its students about the consequences of ragging and encourages them to avoid it.
Caste-based Discrimination Committee
MIM has established a Student Service Cell to support students from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. This cell aims to help these students enhance their academic performance and foster their personal and social development within the institute.
VISHAKA/POSH Committee
Following the Vishaka Guidelines, the Supreme Court mandates that institutions uphold the fundamental right of working women to equality and dignity in the workplace. MIM meets this standard through three key obligations:
- Prohibition
- Prevention
- Redress
