Health Camp

The Youth Red Cross Unit of Measi Institute of Management organised a Free General Health anf Eye Screening Camp on the theme “Building healthy futures together” on 23rd January 2024 in our premise in collaboration with Kauvery Hospital and Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital.This initiative aimed to provide primary healthcare services and educational awareness to the student community, fostering a culture of wellness and responsible health practices.The health camp offered a spectrum of services starting from the general health check up which included the blood pressure, blood sugar, height and weight also providing crucial insights into overall health. During the eye screening camp, approximately 289 participants, including students, staff, and the general public, were examined by ophthalmologists, and appropriate recommendations were given to those who were found to have refractive errors and ophthalmic diseases. A team of twenty dedicated doctors, nurses, and supporting staff members from the Kauvery Hospital and Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital diligently served the crowd. With immense gratitude and reverence I consider it my privilege to thank our Management ,Convenor and Director for the immense support and direction. I would also like to thank our President, Secretary, Treasurer and Club Office Bearers of Youth Red Cross unit of MIM for supporting and making the campaign a memorable one.Finally, I thank each and everyone whole heartedly, who have worked hard to bring this high spirited campaign a great success.
